Strondex

About

Enterprise security experience, made achievable for the rest of us

Strondex turns two decades of real-world security and infrastructure work into checklists, tools, and guides that a business owner, not just a security team, can actually use. The controls are the same ones large enterprises live by. The difference is they're written in plain English, with how to verify each one and what evidence to keep.

The Experience Behind Strondex

Strondex was founded by Jason Dobbs, a technology leader, cybersecurity strategist, and infrastructure architect with more than two decades of experience helping organizations build, secure, and modernize their technology environments. As Director of Engineering for a managed services organization, Jason leads teams responsible for cloud transformation, cybersecurity operations, infrastructure engineering, automation, and compliance across a diverse portfolio of businesses.

His expertise spans Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, Azure, AWS, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and operational automation. Throughout his career, he has led organizations through complex cloud migrations, security remediation efforts, regulatory compliance initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and large-scale infrastructure modernization projects. His approach combines executive-level strategy with hands-on technical experience, ensuring recommendations are practical, achievable, and aligned with real-world business needs.

That experience includes strengthening identity security through Conditional Access and multi-factor authentication, hardening Microsoft 365 environments against modern threats, implementing email authentication standards such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and helping organizations address the security and compliance requirements imposed by insurers, auditors, customers, and regulatory bodies. Jason has worked with organizations across healthcare, financial services, legal, real estate, energy, government, and professional services sectors.

Why Strondex Exists

Strondex was built to solve a problem Jason encountered repeatedly throughout his career. Business owners and office managers are often handed cybersecurity questionnaires, compliance assessments, or insurance requirements with little guidance on what the questions actually mean or how to verify the answers. Yet inaccurate responses can lead to failed audits, increased risk, denied claims, or lost business opportunities.

The same challenge appears during cyber insurance renewals, vendor security reviews, compliance assessments, and customer due diligence processes. Organizations are expected to understand and demonstrate technical controls without having access to dedicated security expertise.

Strondex bridges that gap by translating complex cybersecurity and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance. Every checklist and assessment is designed to help organizations understand what is required, how to validate that controls are in place, and what documentation should be retained to demonstrate compliance. The goal is simple: provide practical guidance grounded in real-world experience, enabling businesses to strengthen their security posture with confidence and clarity.

What makes Strondex different

Built from real assessments

The controls come from securing live environments and answering real questionnaires, not copied off a compliance PDF or generated from a template.

Plain English, with proof

Each control says what to do, how to verify it, and what evidence to keep. No jargon, no hand-waving, no “consult your security team.”

Vendor-neutral and practical

Guidance you can act on whether you run Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or a mix, focused on the failures attackers and underwriters actually care about.

Priced for growing businesses

Security and compliance shouldn't require a six-figure engagement. Start free, and pay once for the full checklist when you're ready.

“The goal is technology that isn't just reliable and secure, but aligned with where the business is actually trying to go.”
